ACUPUNCTURE INITIAL VISIT

Embark on a journey towards your optimal health!  Acupuncture and herbal medicine are used to treat a wide array of concerns, including, though not limited to, psycho*emotional ruts, musculoskeletal conditions, stress, immunity, chronic illness, preventive and maintenance care, and overall restoring balance.  Your initial visit begins with a comprehensive intake where we'll discuss your health needs and goals.  The initial visit intake is followed by an acupuncture treatment with bodywork and/or cupping.  An herbal consultation will also be provided, if recommended.
 

 

ACUPUNCTURE RETURN VISIT

The 60-minute return treatment includes acupuncture and some light bodywork (Tui Na, Shiatsu, or Gua Sha).- $100

BALANCING TREATMENTS

These treatments are derived from classical methods of Chinese medicine that work to regulate and bring the body's Qi back to a state of balance.  Qi is a vital force within the body that circulates along within the body that circulates along with acupuncture channels and infuses into all the tissues of the body.  These treatments will help you to be emotionally and physically lighter, breathe deeper, and sense more vibrantly.  Balancing Treatments are wonderful if you don't have anything specific to work on.  They are also a great intro to acupuncture and Chinese medicine modalities, for those of you that haven't tried it yet.

PEACEFUL SPIRIT:

Experience the relaxing, body-regulating effects of the Spirit Balance Treatment.  This treatment engenders a calm and clear mind to soothe the heart and promote a serene mind.  This is an ideal treatment to reduce emotional restlessness.  This treatment starts with cupping, then acupuncture, and finishes with a relaxing foot massage.

EARTHWISE:

The digestive system is described as the Earth aspect of the body.  This treatment is designed to balance, ease discomfort, and promote healthy digestion through the harmonization of the Qi in the abdomen.  This treatment starts with cupping, then acupuncture, and finishes with an abdominal massage.

SMOOTH FLOW:

Find both, release and nourishment, in this treatment that regulates Qi and clears the tracks of stress and tension throughout the body.  Through regulating channel Qi and nourishing blood, this treatment strengthens your body's capacity to transform strain into wase, making it ideal for anyone who feels physical and mental stagnations due to stress.  This treatment begins with cupping, followed by acupuncture, and ending with realigning neck massage.

JADE SCREEN:

This treatment is designed to fortify the guardian forces of the body; the Wei (exterior) Qui and Zheng (Upright) Qi, which constitute your body's natural immune system.  If you find yourself easily getting sick or wanting to boost your essential resilience and health, this is a great option to try.  This treatment begins with cupping, followed by acupuncture, and ending with a luxurious hand massage.

CLEAR WATER DETOX:

Refresh, purify and renew.  Aid your body in rinsing out impurities and toxins that have accumulated in the blood and other tissues.  By targeting the Liver, Spleen, Gallbladder and Lungs this treatment benefits the body in expelling what is not needed, while simultaneously increasing its ability to absorb what is.  This treatment begins with cupping, followed by acupuncture, and ending with a Foot soak.

HERBAL CONSULTATION

With over 10,000 herbs in its repertoire, Chinese herbal medicine has become a highly developed science.  After our thorough 30-minute consultation, we will carefully select either an herbal patent formula or build a customized herbal formula that synergistically treat your individual symptoms and support your constitutional physiology, while taking care that they don't interact with any other medicines you may be taking.  If you would like to work on treating something without using pharmaceuticals, herbal medicine may be a great choice.  Taking herbs is a wonderful way to enhance the benefits of all your consultations are available virtually anywhere in Wisconsin and we will ship your herbs to you.  Please note that the cost of the herbs is not included in the price.

FACIAL/COSMETIC ACUPUNCTURE

Cosmetic acupuncture is a medical procedure that involves inserting very fine needles into different areas of the skin of the face and head to affect a positive change in the skin texture and quality.  This technique has the effect of minimizing the visibility of acne scars, fine lines, and wrinkles by improving the skins tone and texture.

 

Some of the effects of this treatment include:

• Reduce the visibility of acne scare, fine lines, and wrinkles

• Brightens and firms the skin by stimulating collagen and elastin production

• Reduces areas of hyperpigmentation

• Improves the texture of the skin

• Reduces swelling and puffiness

Facial Revitalization Acupuncture starts with a facial cleansing, toner and copper peptide serum application which is followed by both facial and body acupuncture.  On the face, one or two areas are focused on at a time.  Both the dermis and the muscles that are employed to generate expressions are treated.  Body points are needled to support facial acupuncture.  Patients can expect to have anywhere from 10 to 40 needles inserted, we will work with you on figuring out what you can handle each time.

After the needles are removed, the skin will receive another application of copper peptide serum that will now be more readily absorbed into the dermis.  Following what we apply our handcrafted Rosehip and Arnica Facial oil for a specialized Facial Cupping and Gua Sha session.  To Finish off the treatment we use a hydrating facial cream and a Mother of Pearl facial mist, which all leaves your face in a hydrated state of healing and regeneration.

Though, many see and feel changes after the first or second treatment, typically, changes can be seen and felt in four to six sessions.

It is generally recommended to complete a course of ten sessions and for the best results, these maintenance sessions should be scheduled twice per week for five weeks with a follow-up maintenance session scheduled every four to six weeks.

FREE COSMETIC ACUPUNCTURE CONSULTATION:

This 30-minute session includes a health history and screening to determine whether Facial Revitalization Acupuncture is right for you.  After the health history and screening we will discuss your goals and explain what you should expect with Facial Revitalizaton Acupuncture.  Though this consultation does not include a treatment, it is required before Facial Revitalization Acupuncture treatments can be scheduled.

We also offer a package of 3 or 5 (75-minute) treatments.  Acupuncture is a compounding therapy, wherein each treatment multiplies the effects of the previous.  We offer a discounted rate when purchasing several treatments up front.  These treatments do not expire and can be used for either a standard acupuncture treatment or one of the predesigned balancing treatments.
